G-250XS HAIPE Encryptor
The Viasat KG-250XS is a low size, weight, and power (SWaP) National Security Agency (NSA)-certified Type 1 rugged HAIPE Inline Network Encryptor (INE). Weighing just over half a pound and delivering over 100 Mbps (aggregate) asymmetric throughput that can be split depending on mission needs, the KG-250XS is ideal data protection for telecommuting, flyaway kits, small Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), and other dismounted or field applications.
Packing big networking power in a small form factor for data in transit, the Viasat KG-250XS delivers features above and beyond standard HAIPE requirements and improved performance over high-latency links with embedded multicast video on demand and Embedded Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) acceleration. The KG-250XS has advanced cryptographic capabilities (ACC), is Over-The-Network Keying (OTNK) Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) Aware, is partial differential equation (PDE)-enabled,* and offers pass-through Layer 2 traffic using Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN)/Ethernet tunneling over Layer 3 networks.*
The KG-250XS allows you to remotely rekey a network of HAIPE devices from a physically secure location with HAIPE-to-HAIPE over-the-air/net keying and leverages a field-proven software-upgradable design, so it evolves over time to meet new requirements without hardware changes. It also comes equipped with a browser-based human-machine interface (HMI) for easy configurations and centralized INE management is provided at no extra cost. The Viasat KG-250XS provides trusted on-the-go IP encryption that won’t weigh you down.
KG-255X HAIPE and EDE-CIS Encryptor
As a rugged, flexible National Security Agency (NSA)-certified Type 1, 2 Gbps (aggregate) Inline Network Encryptor (INE), the Viasat KG-255X offers enterprise or tactical network-level Internet Protocol (IP) data protection up to Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI), helps reduce network overhead, and seamlessly integrates into networks.
Rugged for tactical and powerful for infrastructure, the KG-255X offers optimum flexibility by leveraging either 200 Mbps or 2 Gbps aggregate processing power and both Layer 3 HAIPE or True Layer 2 EDE-CIS* and VLAN. In addition to flexibility in both speed and network protocol, the KG-255X has a software-programmable architecture to meet evolving cybersecurity requirements. It supports standard copper, fiber single-mode/multi-mode small form-factor pluggables (SFPs) commonly used with networking equipment.
Thermal design and packaging provide effective power management, high reliability, and lower touch temperatures. With the KG-255X, you can remotely rekey a network of HAIPE devices from a physically secure location with HAIPE-to-HAIPE over-the-air/net keying, and you can improve performance over high-latency links with embedded Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) acceleration (xPeP). Offering the same encryption power of 10 separate 10 Gbps encryptors, we’ve merged security and high-speed processing power in a single unit. The KG-142 is designed to protect high-bandwidth applications such as cloud computing and big data processing. Combining decades of experience protecting classified government data with proven innovation in broadband networking, we designed the KG-142 to deliver affordable, high-availability, high-reliability security that keeps pace with customer needs.

The KG-250X/KG-250X-FC combines Type 1 high-speed network encryption that goes beyond HAIPE requirements, with cyber defense technologies and visualization software including Trusted Cyber Sensor (TCS) so you can more securely communicate over Internet Protocol (IP) and gain actionable intelligence on your security posture.
The KG-250X/KG-250X-FC allows IP traffic to route more efficiently and decreases network overhead with embedded OSPF and PIM.
